Payments & financing
Financial Policy
Clear, transparent pricing — with options that fit your budget.
We believe you should know what something costs before we do it. No surprise bills. No "we’ll see what insurance covers and let you know." Up-front pricing, every time.
Payment options
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and CareCredit financing. Virginia Dental Club members get 20% off most treatments. Larger treatment plans can usually be split into payments — talk to our front desk.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a healthcare credit line that often offers 0% interest for 6, 12, or 18 months on dental work. We’ll help you apply at the office — most patients get a decision in minutes.
Insurance
We accept most major dental insurance and file claims for you. See our insurance information page for the full list.
Common Questions
Frequently asked
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service. If you have dental insurance, you pay your estimated portion the day of your visit; we file the claim and reconcile any difference once insurance pays.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), and CareCredit healthcare financing. Virginia Dental Club members can apply their 20% member discount to most treatments.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — through CareCredit. Most patients can spread treatment costs across 6, 12, 18, or 24 monthly payments, often at 0% interest on qualifying plans. We can help you apply at our office and most patients get a decision in minutes.
Will you give me an estimate before treatment starts?
Always. Before any treatment beyond a routine cleaning, we'll review the full cost in writing — including what your insurance is expected to cover and what you'll owe out of pocket. No surprise bills, ever.
What if my insurance pays less than estimated?
Insurance estimates are based on what your plan typically covers, but final payment is determined by your insurance company. If they pay less than expected, you'll receive a statement for the balance. We do our best to estimate conservatively.
Is there a fee for missed appointments?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may incur a small fee — but we'll work with you on legitimate emergencies. Just call us.
